| An institution of higher
education applying for accreditation should meet the following
criteria:
Criterion One. The Institution Has Clear and Publicly
Stated Purposes Consistent with its Mission and Appropriate
to an Institution of Higher Education.
Pattern of evidence supporting this Criterion:
1. Purposes and goals of are consistent with its mission.
2. Defining institution's purposes and goals by involving
of its constituencies and their supported unanimity.
3. Institution's decisions are appropriate to its mission
and purposes.
4. Institution's purposes and goals are publicly stated.
Criterion Two: The Institution has Effectively Organized
the Human, Financial, and Physical Resources Necessary
to Accomplish its Purposes.
Pattern of evidence supporting this Criterion:
1. It has a governing board consisting of members who
work in accordance with the stated board policies.
2. It has an effective administration with well-defined
organizational structures and functions.
3. It has a qualified and experienced administrative personnel
who oversee institutional activities and exercise appropriate
responsibility for them.
4. It has a system of governance that provides dependable
information to the institution's constituencies and involves
them in the administrative process.
5. Faculties have educational credentials that testify
required knowledge and experience for teaching.
6. The number of students enrolled is appropriate to the
institution's purposes, plans and abilities.
7. It has academic resources and equipment (e.g. libraries,
learning resource centers, laboratories, equipment for
research, computers, and studios) necessary for institution's
activities and for the self-study of students.
8. It has a building that supports effective teaching
and learning.
9. It has hygiene and security service important for effective
teaching and learning
10. It has a pattern of financial resources, expenditures,
and management of finance and economy to maximize the
institution's capability to meet its purpose.
Criterion Three: The Institution is Accomplishing its
Educational and Other Purposes.
Pattern of evidence supporting this Criterion:
1. Educational programs are appropriate to the general
rule, regulations, and standards of higher education.

courses of study are clearly defined, coherent,
appropriate to up-to-date requirements of science and
technology, and intellectually rigorous;

educational programs include courses and/or activities
whose purpose is to stimulate the examination and understanding
of' personal, social and civic values;

programs that require of faculty and students the
participation in research, build the condition for competition
of chances of success in the research that require the
use of scholarship, grants and pricing;

the degree giving programs are different from the
undergraduate programs;

It has a register system for students, enrollments,
and graduates.
2. It carries out scientific researches, which support
the faculty and students to acquire methodology of research
work.

equipment, library, etc.);

information (symposium, seminar, publication, etc.);
3. Institutional services that effectively support its
purposes.

Criterion Four: The Institution Can Continue to Accomplish

1. It has a current resource base- financial, physical,
and human- that is necessary for institutional effectiveness
in the future.
2. It has an assessment process for the institutional
activities that involve institutional constituencies on
base of democracy.
3. Plans as well as ongoing, effective planning processes
necessary to the institution's continuance.
4. Resources organized and allocated to support its plans
for strengthening the effectiveness of the institution.
Criterion Five: The Institution Demonstrates Integrity
in its Practices and Relationships.
Pattern of evidence supporting this Criterion:
1. It has handbooks for student, faculty, and staff which
describes the rules and regulation, and that describe
various institutional relationships with those constituencies,
including appropriate grievance procedures.
2. It functions without any discrimination.
3. Its published information is accurate.
4. Its relationship with other institutions is ethical
and responsible.
5. It supports social, cultural, athletic relationships,
and business enterprises with other institutions.
6. It has oversight process for monitoring contractual
arrangements with other organizations.
